Environmental2013-04The MoEF (Sunita Narain) committee report of 18 April 2013 found environmental-clearance violations at Mundra: satellite imagery showed deterioration and loss of creeks and widespread mangrove destruction (~75 ha of the conservation zone), and APSEZ had failed to protect mangroves; the committee called the evidence of violations incontrovertible and recommended a large environmental-restoration fund.
